Halcyon Releases Neuron Integration for Sun xVM Ops Center

By connecting Sun xVM Ops Center to enterprise frameworks, Neuron enables centralized visibility of Data Center health and performance.

BELLEVUE, WA - Mar 04, 2009 - Halcyon Monitoring Solutions, Inc, a leader in Infrastructure Management solutions, today announced availability of Neuron Integration for Sun xVM Ops Center. Using Neuron, IT organizations can seamlessly integrate critical health events and performance data from locally managed systems with Network Operations Center (NOC) frameworks such as IBM Tivoli or BMC Enterprise Manager reducing system downtime through early detection of resource bottlenecks and impending hardware failures.

Events detected by Sun xVM Ops Center include hardware component failures such as hard drives, power supplies, fan speeds, and CPU temperatures, as well as Operating System alarms such as CPU, memory, and filesystem utilization.
