VERSION/DATE: 1.0.0a/2008-04-21

BUG FIXES:

- None.

ENHANCEMENTS:

- Added support for Sun MC 4.0.

- Added support for i386 Sun MC server layer platforms.

KNOWN PROBLEMS:

- If the server context (trap and event hosts) and agent port number
are changed for an existing AIX agent node, the Info tab in the
console Host Details window for the host may display the old trap
  and event hosts.

- The following error message may appear when the AIX agent is stopped.

agent process(1143036) error waiting for process to exit: child process
lost (is SIGCHLD ignored or trapped?)

This error message is benign and can be safely ignored.

- SunMC versions prior to 3.6 have a maximum seed length of 8 characters.
If you are using a version of SunMC that is less than 3.6, then you
must specify a seed value that is no more than 8 characters. The
seed value will not be automatically truncated.

- The agent becomes unresponsive if the data command is executed in an
interactive agent that has been started in an SSL session. The agent
is usually started interactively for debugging purposes at the advice
of Halcyon support. As a result, users will not generally experience
this issue. The workaround for this issue is to use a non-SSL session
  such as telnet.

UPGRADE STRATEGY:

- None. This module is compatible with the previous release.
