Overview

Halcyon PrimeAlert Adapter for BMC PATROL Enterprise Manager (PEM) provides the capability to integrate Sun Management Center (Sun MC) alarms into BMC PEM. The integration can be achieved by sending Sun MC alarms as SNMP traps to the BMC PEM ConnectSNMP adapter. The utility "HALAdapterPEM-trap.sh" provides a mechanism to inject the Sun MC alarms into PEM. Also included are configuration files for BMC PATROL Enterprise Manager ConnectSNMP which are essential for interpreting the SNMP traps. PrimeAlert EventAction and BMC ConnectSNMP is required for this product.
