Loading PrimeAlert for Apache Web Server

  1. Select "Load Module..." from the Module Menu of the Host Details console or from the host's Pop-up Menu.
  1. Select PrimeAlert for Apache Web Server from the Module Picklist and click on Apply. This launches the Module Loader in which you are required to enter the following information:

Module Parameters

The following table describes the Module Parameters.
 

Field

Description

Module The name of the module. This field is read-only.
Module Name The short description of the module. This field is read-only.
Module Description The long description of the module. This field is read-only.
Version The version number of the module. This field is read-only.
Enterprise The Enterprise where this module will be loaded in the Agent's MIB. This field is read-only.
Module Type The module's type, which determines where this module will appear in the module hierarchy. This field is read-only.
Instance Enter a unique alphanumeric string used internally to differentiate one instance of the module loaded into the agent from another.

NOTE: You should use an instance string which is 7 characters or less, otherwise there will be problems displaying data for tables which contain more than 50 rows.

Description Enter a short formal description of the module. This description is used to identify the module in the console window.  The value you enter will be appended with the Module Name described above and displayed in the console window.

For example, if the description of the module is "Halcyon", then "PrimeAlert for Apache Web Server [Halcyon]" will be displayed in the console.

Apache Server Host Enter the host where your Apache server will be running.

Apache Server Port Numeric port number which the Apache server uses to listen for client requests.
