Important Information

This product can be used with Sun Management Center (Sun MC) or the
Halcyon PrimeAlert Neuron Agent.  To use this product with Neuron,
refer to the file README.neuron.  For more details on Neuron, please
visit our corporate website (http://www.halcyoninc.com).  To use this
product with Sun MC, continue with the instructions outlined in this
file.


Overview
======================================================================
PrimeAlert for DB2 monitors the health and statistics of a DB2
database server. Database resources such as processes, connections,
bufferpools, locks, memory and database activities may be viewed from
the PrimeAlert for DB2 console window.

Included Components

This distribution includes the following PrimeAlert module(s):

   PrimeAlert for DB2
   PrimeAlert LogFileMonitor
   PrimeAlert ProcessMonitor

These three modules are installed together because PrimeAlert for
DB2 employs some of the functionality provided by the other two
modules.

PrimeAlert for DB2 is supported for the following software product(s):

   Sun Management Center 3.5 - 4.0
   IBM DB2 UDB V8.x
   IBM DB2 9.x
