Product Overview
Halcyon’s PrimeAlert Enterprise Reporter provides a comprehensive view of the health and performance of datacenter infrastructure useful for utilization monitoring, capacity planning, billing and chargeback. This solution enables Sun Management Center customers to collect, store, and graph historical system and application performance data to improve service levels of critical business services.


Product Components
PrimeAlert Enterprise Reporter is a bundle that includes the following products:
  • PrimeAlert Enterprise Reporter - Provides centralized graphical performance reports via periodic data collection from Halcyon PrimeAlert Reporter and third party tools.

  • PrimeAlert Reporter - Quickly enables Sun Management Center Agents to collect, store, and graph performance data locally.

  • PrimeAlert WebPortal - An intuitive web interface to seamlessly manage and view reports in Sun Management Center with most of the key functionality of the Java console.

Aggregate and Graph Performance Data
Aggregates performance data from an unlimited number of hosts and applications into a single graph. This enables organizations to instantly view and compare overall system utilization in virtual environments. It is also useful for forecasting future capacity needs and troubleshooting performance bottlenecks.


Data Export and Automated Email Delivery
Provides scheduled export of performance data in addition to automated email delivery of reports for use in third party graphing tools. This enables organizations to quickly consolidate data from mulitple reporting tools to significantly reduce costs associated with report generation and management.


Process Snapshots for Performance Correlation
Stores up to 5 years of process listings with detailed resource statistics to allows users to correlate performance bottlenecks with running applications and services. These process snapshots can also be correlated with events to precisely pinpoint the root cause of problems and thereby increase and improve services levels.


Customizable User-Based Templates
Create customized report categories and dashboard based templates to organize and easily view reports based on individual needs.
