Overview
The PrimeAlert WebPortal provides a web-based user interface
to Sun Management Center. Using a web browser, the PrimeAlert WebPortal
allows you to view the status of your hardware and software from anywhere
in the world.
The PrimeAlert WebPortal features include:
User interface to PrimeAlert Reporter,
which keeps historical data about monitored objects. With PrimeAlert Reporter
you can graph data, as well as create and view reports about all your monitored
objects.
Domain,
Group and
Host Management, for constructing
a network topology based on a physical or logical grouping of nodes.
Alarm Search for
current and historic alarms detected by Sun Management Center.
Drill down to the source of an alarm from any level of your
managed object hierarchy, providing immediate information about any problems
that have been detected.
Navigational Path that
provides a detailed summary of your current location and simplifies navigation
within the managed object hierarchy by providing quick links to jump to any
point in your current path.
Global Attribute Editor
which allows you to configure the attributes of multiple objects on multiple
hosts, including alarm parameters and security access control.
Global Module Management
features that allow you to load, unload and edit modules on multiple hosts
at once.
Global Table Management
features that allow you to add delete and edit table rows on multiple hosts
at once.
PrimeAlert EventAction
Integration so you can view objects in the PrimeAlert WebPortal just
seconds after they trigger an alarm.
Alarm Acknowledgement from any of the PrimeAlert WebPortal's views.
Continuous Update Window
that allows you to continuously monitor information of particular interest.
