This product can be used with Sun Management Center (Sun MC) or the
Halcyon PrimeAlert Neuron Agent. To use this product with Neuron,
refer to the file README.neuron. For more details on Neuron, please
visit our corporate website (http://www.halcyoninc.com). To use this
product with Sun MC, continue with the instructions outlined in this
file.
Overview

PrimeAlert Event Gateway accepts and logs SNMP traps from hosts within
a network to either open or close alarm events.

Included Components

This distribution includes the following PrimeAlert product(s):
PrimeAlert Event Gateway
Acknowledgements

PrimeAlert Event Gateway uses the Mibble software developed by
Per Cederberg (http://www.mibble.org). PrimeAlert Event Gateway
runs the Mibble as a separate executable, and is only loosely coupled
with it. There is no need to download the Mibble separately.
The Mibble is covered under the terms of the GNU General Public
License, Version 2, June 1991 (http://www.gnu.org/copyleft/gpl.html).
Supported Platforms

PrimeAlert Event Gateway is only supported for the following software
product(s):
Sun Management Center 3.5-4.0
Java 1.3.1_18 or higher
SNMPv1 to SNMPv2C
