Halcyon's Neuron Event Manager is a highly scalable centralized event management framework that efficiently and intelligently routes critical data center infrastructure notifications between Enterprise Management Frameworks (EMFs). It enables IT organizations to enrich, enhance, and expand the visibility of their existing Network Operation Center (NOC) tools to include a broader range of health, performance, and availability indicators.

Neuron Event Manager is bundled with popular framework adapters that enables this solution to captures events from Sun Management Center and seamlessly integrates these events with other management frameworks and help desk ticketing tools. Events include hardware system component failures, as well as OS health and performance metrics such as inadequate CPU, memory, or disk.
