ENHANCEMENTS

- Support for Solaris 10

- Improved logging functionality. The details of each successful
  snmp trap is written to a historical logfile, one per trap host.

- Included a MIB object corresponding to the OID used for reverse
  acknowledgement

- Log an error to the system log when Sun MC configuration directory
  cannot be located

- Added an extra varbind to the resulting SNMP trap, indicating the
  name of the EventAction rule that initiated adapter script
  execution

BUG FIXES
----------------------------------------------------------------------
- If an IP address is provided, the script now attempts to resolve it
  to a hostname, as the snmptrap command cannot handle IP addresses.

- Documentation improvements.

- Fixed a bug that would cause non-default RMI ports to be parsed
  incorrectly or not at all.


UPGRADE STRATEGY
----------------------------------------------------------------------
- If you have customized your HALAdapterFrameworks-trap.sh
  script, you will need to update the new version of this script with
  your customizations.

  Halcyon Monitoring Solutions will fully support the un-customized
  version of the trap script and at our discretion may attempt
  to help users with customized versions.

  If you have customized your trap script, take the following steps:

  1. Perform a diff of the original version of the
  HALAdapterFrameworks-trap.sh script with the version currently
  installed in /var/opt/SUNWsymon/bin/HALEventAction, and note all
  of your changes.

  Note: If you have already run the install script
  and upgraded the adapter, the previously installed version of the
  trap script will be saved to the file:

  HALAdapterFrameworks-trap.sh.before_[date]_at_[time]

  2. After installing the new version of the Adapter for
  Frameworks, update the script appropriately with any changes you
  wish to keep, and resolve any conflicts.

- Added a command line utility that allows the Sun MC Console to be
  launched directly to an agent details window from a remote
  Framework.

- Alarms sent from Sun MC alarms may now be acknowledged via an SNMP
  set using any 'snmpset' command.

- Added ability to specify multiple hostnames in the script arguments.
  As a result, one row in EventAction can be used to integrate with
  multiple systems.

- Added support for Sun Management Center's Agent Update feature.

- The varbinds eventOpenTime and eventCloseTime will now report
  the correct event open or close time rather than the time the
  event was processed by EventAction.
