Overview

Halcyon PrimeAlert Adapter for Frameworks provides the capability to integrate Sun Management Center (Sun MC) alarms into frameworks that can accept SNMP traps. The integration is achieved by sending Sun MC alarms as SNMP traps to the framework of choice, which then does the required processing. The most common use of the product is to present Sun MC alarms in the framework's console. Included is a script "HALAdapterFrameworks-trap.sh" to forward the Sun MC alarms as SNMP traps; an ASN.1 MIB file describing the traps; and generic integration instructions. PrimeAlert EventAction is required to use PrimeAlert Adapter for Frameworks.
