Overview |
| The PrimeAlert LogFileAlert module can be used to scan a
single local file or series of local files for user-specified
patterns. Multiple files or a multiple series of files may be
scanned by loading multiple PrimeAlert LogFileAlert modules in PrimeAlert
agents. Patterns may be added, removed and edited in the
module without having to restart it or the agent into which
it has been loaded. |
| File scanning may be performed in one of two modes,
full and incremental. These are further described in
this help file. File scanning may be further enhanced to scan a
series of files. This is also described in this help file. |
