Neuron Core
Neuron Core is a lightweight centralized event management framework. It can not only receive inbound events, but also process those events through its rules engine and forward them to popular Enterprise Management Frameworks (EMFs).

Neuron Event Manager
Neuron Event Manager provides centralized integration of events from multiple sources. Sources include systems management software such as Sun Ops Center, Sun Management Center, Nagios and many others in addition to standard SNMP devices. Incoming events can be viewed using the bundled Neuron Event Viewer or integrated to 3rd party enterprise management frameworks and help desk tools using sophisticated yet easy to create rules with event filters, automated actions and schedules.

Neuron Integration for BMC Event Manager
Neuron Integration for BMC Event Manager provides the capability to integrate alarms received by Halcyon Neuron Core into BMC Event Manager. This integration can be achieved by sending SNMP traps to BMC Event Manager via BMC PATROL Enterprise Manager Connect SNMP.

Neuron Integration for HP OpenView provides the capability to integrate alarms received by Halcyon Neuron Core into either HP OpenView Operations or HP OpenView Network Node Manager.

Neuron Integration for IBM Tivoli
Neuron Integration for IBM Tivoli provides the capability to integrate events received by Halcyon Neuron Core into IBM Tivoli. This integration can be achieved by sending events to the IBM Tivoli Enterprise Console (TEC) server using the Tivoli Communication protocol for endpoints and/or managed nodes.

Neuron Integration for IBM Tivoli Netcool
Neuron Integration for IBM Tivoli Netcool provides the capability to integrate alarms received by Halcyon Neuron Core into IBM Tivoli Netcool. This integration is achieved by sending SNMP traps to the Netcool Trapd Probe which in turn can be configured to analyze the traps and present them in the Netcool EventList console.

Neuron Integration for Sun Management Center
Neuron Integration for Sun Management Center integrates hardware faults and operating system health events from Sun Management Center with popular Enterprise Management Frameworks (EMFs). When combined with the Halcyon Neuron Integration for Sun Ops Center solution, organizations can leverage the Sun Ops Center software to gain visibility into the health of their Sun Management Center monitored environment.
