Important Information

This product can be used with Sun Management Center (Sun MC) or the
Halcyon PrimeAlert Neuron Agent.  To use this product with Neuron,
refer to the file README.neuron.  For more details on Neuron, please
visit our corporate website (http://www.halcyoninc.com).  To use this
product with Sun MC, continue with the instructions outlined in this
file.


Overview
======================================================================
PrimeAlert for Sun Messaging Server monitors the health and 
resources of your Sun Messaging Server through Sun Management 
Center.

It monitors the message store, the Message Transfer Agent (MTA), and 
quotas. The locks, transactions, recoverability and cache usage of
the message store database are monitored. MTA's operational status, 
connections, messages and channels are also monitored. An overall 
circuit check can be performed by sending and receiving messages. 
The configuration files as well as the error log files and key 
component directories are also monitored.
