Overview

PrimeAlert for Sun Messaging Server monitors the health and resources of Sun Messaging Server. It monitors the message store, the Message Transfer Agent (MTA), and quotas. The locks, transactions, recoverability and cache usage of the message store database are monitored. MTA's operational status, connections, messages and channels are also monitored. An overall circuit check can be performed by sending and receiving messages. The configuration files as well as the error log files and key component directories are also monitored. (See Figure 1)
